High Sierra Guided Service offers quality, highly successful guided California bear hunts in some of the best bear habitat in the West. Our bear hunts are operated both in the Sequoia National Forest and on some 60,000 acres of private ranches. In addition, we have some of the top bear dogs in the state which help provide a highly successful bear hunt. We offer California archery bear hunts from mid-August to mid-September and California rifle bear hunts from the end of September through the end of December.
